We design and build metal Free Span Truss buildings for a variety of needs, ranging from small urban developments, larger residential projects, and all the way up to commercial sized buildings. With our in-house team/engineers and over 50 years of combined experience in building design, we can help you reach the specifications of your needs.

Free span trusses offer great options for larger spaces at about 1/3 the price of red iron steel spans. Our manufacturing team are experts at what they do, where fit and finish make all the difference to a successful project. These spans give any building, including barndominiums, new options for configuration layouts with varying heights and angles. These are full season buildings, able to withstand the heavy snow loads and wind loads of northern climates, fully engineered for your local conditions and building codes.

What is your process working on smaller projects?

We start with whatever form of floor plans and exteriors that you have created — pencil sketches, portfolio of pictures that you liked, electronic-generated floor plans, or scribbles on the pizza box — we have worked with ideas in many formats. Even with our suggested barndominium kits, customization to your needs comes with every project. We work one-on-one with each customer to ensure that you get a buildable project of high quality at an affordable price. Sometimes, a project may not work for our style of free-span trusses and, if that is the case, we will let you know before we get too far involved in the design.

How do I find out about pricing for my project?

It starts with an email or a phone call and we can give you some general pricing information. But please remember that we aren’t a pole barn building — we are a better quality structure built on a foundation. We remain a smaller company by choice….this gives us a chance to be one-on-one with each client through the design and build process and be as worry free as possible, so we will try to break down the costs as closely as possible before contracts are signed. Most clients are satisfied to contract with us for building documents and permitting, site prep, and shell erection. Depending on where your project is located, we can also be that ‘turn-key’ company with project management from our list of preferred contractors. The success of any design and build is in the relationship, trust, and communication. We will try our best to be ‘that company.’

Like any company, our building success is in our list of successful builds. We would like to point you in that direction and let you decide for yourself. We are located in Missouri and carefully expanding to the surrounding states. Give us a call for available referrals.

Can I call and speak with someone directly about my project?

At this time, we are generally available from 8:30 to 4:30, Central Time, to answer the phone and talk with you directly about your project. Since we are a smaller company that wants to be able to focus on your specific needs, we ask that you have as much information available before you call. We encourage emails with portfolios attached so that the phone calls are more productive. We don’t want to be unresponsive, but we are likely working on real designs and that takes time and real attention to details. Since we aren’t a high-pressure slick sales team, it takes time and a different approach to answer all of your questions. We live for the design process and that is reflected in our conversations with you.
